Snow in Lewisville

Just wanted to share a quick picture of our puppy, Maximus Douglas, enjoying his first snow!

Welcome back everyone from Winter Break!

We are now into our second week back from break and it has ALREADY been pretty eventful! As you know we had a late start today due to the snowy weather. This is not my first experience with a snow delay this winter. Mr. Douglas and I went to New York City over the break to do a quick 4 day trip with his parents and experience some of what New York has to offer. We got A LOT more than what we expected. Due to the blizzard hitting the day we were due to leave, we got to spend an extra THREE days in the city. I have included some pictures from our trip. This was something amazing to witness and it was such an exciting adventure! Hope you enjoy!

After being back from Camp Pine Cove for 2 weeks now, I am FINALLY getting up some more pictures. We had a ton of fun. I think the students really got the opportunity to explore new ideas, explore the wildnerness, bond with their classmates and make some great memories. My Life as a Pumpkin Seed

This week we are doing a crative writing piece on our lives as a pumpkin seed. The students have been working very hard to come up with creative stories about what would happen to them if they were pumpkin seeds and went along the journey pumpkin seeds go on. Here are our kids hard at work writing their stories!

These will come home just in time to share with family over the holidays!
