Today we looked at this in class for a few minutes. This is a live stream of a bald eagle nest. The eggs are supposed to hatch on April 1st! I posted this so you could keep an eye on the mamma and her babies!

Food Drive

This week, Robertson Elementary is participating in a food drive for Frisco Family Services. Our class has started a competition with Mrs. Westhoff's class to see which class can bring the most items. Please help us and the families of Frisco Family Services by donating whatever you can.

Sensory Language

The week before we left for the break we studied how authors use sensory language (language that applies to the 5 senses) to help us make connections and inferences with their work. Here are some fun pictures we took while doing an activity to practice identifying sensory languages and which sense it applied to.

Back to School!

I hope everyone had a MARVELOUS Spring Break! I know I had a great one. I spent my break going camping, hiking, four wheeling, planting flowers and relaxing. I missed all my students though so it's great to be back...even if I am still adjusting to getting up early after a week of sleeping in!

Only 2 more months until summer! I can't believe how fast it is all going!
